During the past weeks of learning about plastic bags we have now been able to make progress in our change. My group and I’s change was to encourage people to use reusable bags instead of plastic bags as it’s harming the environment and marine life. We have found out that in one hour 87 people came out with plastic bags and the other 13 used the reusable ones. We have also learnt that filming people walking in and out of the supermarket and them asking for their permission is much harder then it looks.
The experiences that my group and I have had so far have been tough but exciting. The main one being going to the Gate Pa New World. There we had no script but trying to film our whole movie there. Then it was a battle to decide who was filming who was going to be Super Plastic Man and who was going to be the confused kid. In the end we all just got over the fact that it was boring and did it. The next sage was filming people walking in and out of the supermarket because I was happy to see that the people that we gave reusable bags to didn’t mind us filming them.
I think the next sage for my group and I would be to finish scene one for the stop motion and then it’s pretty much just the movie and then all of the editing that goes after it. I do think that we are going to run into more problems on the way as we have already had tons. I think that we will have the majority of the movie done tomorrow (friday) but it could take on to next week for the editing.

Reflection
Plastic Bags
